ONCAD™ was developed by the Penn Diagnostics team after more than a decade of research and testing. The company, formerly known as Alan Penn & Associates, Inc., was renamed to better represent its commitment to creating solutions that improve the effectiveness and convenience of interpreting clinical studies.
With more than $3 million in small business grants from the National Cancer Institute, Penn Diagnostics' team of mathematicians and scientists, in collaboration with leading researchers and clinicians, began pursuing its goal to develop an innovative CAD system that would improve the early detection and diagnosis of cancer.
ONCAD™, Penn Diagnostics' flagship product, is the result. After years of development and testing, it is the first FDA-cleared solution designed to help radiologists interpret both kinetics and morphology on breast MR.
